COOL V - PRESENTS "REAL TALK" PART II

What's Crack'n Peoples!

I know I haven't dropped some serious "Cool V" Real-Talk in a minute but was inspired by some real friends of mine do so (Shouts To Mary Nicholes, Dj Desires, Wayne Royale, Gbassa, Teressa, Money Mike, J Milly, Rahn Jeremy, Missy B, Madi & The List Goes On! U know who YOU are *Love Ya ALL!*) I know we hear so much going on in this industry that we loose sight of "What's Really Good?" A while ago I wrote a blog about loyalty and realness in this biz and got great responses a ton of you felt me (lol hell I felt myself on that one truth be told! )

Now another inspiration for this blog was a call on last weeks "Wild Wednesdays Radio Show" (WOW!) For those that caught the show know exactly what moment I'm speaking on for those that don't Imma give you the 411. Shouts to last weeks guest and this weeks guests I truly appreciate you and thanks "J Milly" for bringing some heat this past week. Now back to the subject at hand. If you remember my last post about loyalty where here's the part II what ever happened to respect? I am sooooooo tired of all these cats talking about I keeps it real yet keeping it real fake A.K.A "Frosted Flakes' Now that label doesn't apply to all because contrary to popular belief there are actually some cool people in this business that still have morals. Yet there has been a memo that has been passed around that states as long as you making money you can be as fake as a 1 1/3 dollar bill and still have credibility. This industry has turned into a name dropping festival extravaganza. (SMH)

It all started with the grimy generation where loyalty was thrown out the window and hasn't returned since. Now this is not a Bitch Fest Rant rather a Fed-UP release that needed to be said & heard I know many are thinking what I'm writing and if you was afraid to say it I'm saying it for you! I understand that in this business corniness comes with the territory but Dayums! 1st artists start doing your research because you NEVER know to whom your speaking or dealing with, this may be a large world but a very small industry. Secondly please stop asking for support when you don't even take the time to "properly" introduce yourself! Lastly stop ACTING LIKE THE WORLD OWES YO ASS A FAVOR!!!! Nigga I don't know you!!!!! Are you doing concerts for FREE? Then why should we? Business is an exchange of goods or services and if your NOT willing to do that please miss me with the BS. People if you here I, My, me and no WE your ass is NOT in the equation.

What is soooo funny is I always here independent artists complaining no one supports them when they don't communicate with their fans nor respect their peers especially those who have spent time building their websites, doing street promo or blog sites with out even offering them a meal or even a simple thank you.(SMH) That's that "Bobby Booshay"! It's time we start respecting each other and our peers we don't have time to play when industry big wigs like David Letterman is buying labels where in the hells do you think your sponsors are going? With a established almost billionaire or a not even a hundredaire? It's time we use our heads again we have bigger problems to deal with and we are up against a formidable opponents already.

It's up to YOU to change the game we gots to stop blaming others for the way we continue to treat each other and we also have to stop embracing ignorance keep in mind who's pushing it and why!!!!!! At the end of the day what do you want to be known for your music, talent or business ethics or if your ass was a jump off or gimmick that's up to you (Hells only GOD can judge you!)

Any who I wish everyone the best and to have a safe weekend and to remember the 48 Laws Of Power does NOT supersede The 48 Laws Of Nature!

This week my Topic is "Frosted Flakes"
