It's time for a #Switch!
Nintendo has changed the game and brought something truly innovative. Following up in succession of their consoles previously the Wii and Wii U, imagine a game system that can be changed to whatever you are doing at a moments notice. The Nintendo Switch is that creation of that imagination. You have three modes of play, it's a home system that can be docked to your TV HDMI ports and power plug, it's also a handheld system and you can slide off both sides of the controller to bring anywhere and get some coop play action going against a friend or maybe even ask an complete stranger and make friends as you and that person enjoy a game. Nice move Nintendo, get people social and out with this one.
The Switch has dropped a week ago following two months ago, Nintendo released the Nintendo Classic which was a mini version of the first console a lot of people first remembered that got us all addicted to Duck Hunt, Super Mario, Castlevania, Metroid and more. On release date, not only did we get the Switch after months of anticipation through events like E3 but also the release with the console, the much awaited Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which also debuted with a Wii U port as well for anyone still holding on to their Wii U and waiting later to adopt to the Switch.
Nintendo did a tour prior to the Switch release in different cities like New York City, Toronto, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles giving fans an early chance all the way until release day to play and try out the Switch.
While some game developers have agreed with Nintendo to publish a library of games some titles are still being developed so if you do get a Switch or end up with one as a present or winner of a contest or whatever the lucky chance is then realize there will not be a huge selection of games. It's definitely a game changer and while the tablet console may not have the firepower to compete with Playstation 4 and XBox One, it's portable so whether taking the Switch around during your day to day, vacation or whatever situation then it's something unique. Check out a few reviews of the Nintendo Switch. A new Super Mario Odyssey game and Mario Cart is still on it's way. I just have to say it's good to see Nintendo back to innovation, the last Nintendo system I was rocking was a GameCube. To quote Biggie who we are also celebrating this month, "You wanna sip Mo' on my living room flo'/Play Nintendo with Cease-a-Leo"
