Damn right and Im happy he checked em enough is enough!

What's Crack'n Young World!

Yup ya boy is back I told you about this cat a minute ago and what most people don't recognize is its a gang of em that's why the movement is so powerful.because he comes deep and when you book ASAP you book "His Entire Crew" which is deep and have been ripping shows across the globe and making some major moves.  This MC comes from Harlem NY from a independent label A$AP Worldwide.they describe their brand as "F*ck The Money, F*ck The Fame, this is real life...an insight to my trill life" Check out his bio taken off his FB profile

Born & raised in Harlem, New York, ASAP Rocky is no stranger to the cliché rap lifestyle, popularized by fellow Harlem Patriarchs from Big L & Kool Moe Dee to Ma$e, and Cam'ron. However, Rocky's Harlemite Max B. entrenching yet melodic rap style has drawn more immediate comparisons to recently incarcerated

"Rocky" the Nickname given in part, from his birth name Rakim (after the legendary NY emcee...), and in part for his scrappy, yet suave persona, would quickly embrace Harlem’s diverse music lineage. Raised by his Mother & Father, Rocky was exposed to soulful records such as those from Curtis Mayfield, and Marvin Gaye, in addition to the sudden wave of 90’s “Gangsta Rap”, as well as local Harlem talent. Feeling he had played student of the rap game for long enough, a young Rocky tried his hand at penning his first verse, after hearing his older brother pound out beats on the kitchen table. Instantly recognizing the talent in his sibling, he insisted Rocky not only finish the song but start a new hobby, combining his already popular nickname with the acronym ASAP, meaning To Accumulate Status And Power (also the name of Rocky’s Crew of Harlem Based contemporaries)

Since that time music has changed drastically, but not ASAP Rocky’s ear for quality, as he began making his rounds on the local battle rap circle, and ghostwriting when the opportunity presented itself. By not limiting his musical inspirations geographically, Rocky maintains this diversity in his music today, drawing inspiration from such stark opposites as the Red Hot Chili Peppers & Hope Sandoval to Cee-Lo Green and MGMT. This diversity, evident in his viral debut “Purple Swag”, is clearly what rap fans have been craving, as the video amassed an impressive 100K+ views in a matter of days. Paying tribute to the screw legends of Texas and their infamous purple potion, but with a distinct Harlem flavor.

Rocky is avoiding hipster cliché, and the recent “swag” overload, with a more organic yet still braggadocio style, self proclaimed as Harlem's “Pretty MotherF**Ker.” Rocky’s uniquely authentic introspection, and style have many toting the youngster as NYC’s emcee to watch in the year to come. And if Rocky's initial buzz is any indication, all signs point to a rap resurrection, appropriately led by the kid named after "The God Emcee."

COOL V - PRESENTS REAL TALK WITH "MICHELLE B" INSIGHT, MOTIVATION, TRN NEWS & MORE!!!!

Well first of all, welcome to my first TRN blog, where I'll be posting TRN news, updates on what's going on with the team, along with some inspiration and positivity!

So here goes, today I would like to talk about the difference between dreaming, and 'having dreams' aka goals, some people have them, I do, some people know what they would be if they had them, but think that having them would mean they were 'daydreaming' as they've been conditioned since birth to think.  These are the people I would like to reach out to, I mean how do you guys think anything became achieved?
How do you think Madonna became what she is today? What about Professor Stephen Hawking or Steven Spielberg? "You get the gist though right?" These people were all born like us, into normal lives, with normal backgrounds. The difference? They all sought the knowledge they needed to become what they 'dreamed' of being, they all made their dreams reality and in doing so have achieved what they set out to. Their actions, by working toward their goals, and not giving in to failure (which every one of them suffered), made them what they are today.  It was their determination, not their haste to say 'oh i was just dreaming' .
So think about it, who's actually living in the dream world, is it the person living their dream, following their goals, and acting on them? or is it the person unwilling to take the duvet from over their head to see reality? Reality is what dreams are made of, why dreamers dream, and why everything can be improved in some way. So there's no time to waste chastising those with ambition if you have none of your own yet....am i wrong?
We all have a part to play here, whatever it may be to the individual, blaming others for our own downfall isn't going to help, only learning what 'others' to include in our oh so precious lives, understanding who enriches your life and who makes you feel like you're 'daydreaming' every time you want to follow your own path and make something of yourself.  We all have so much potential, and we all can make our little differences for the better, if we take the first step....nothing worth having or doing is easy and for every moment of beauty there is a struggle....but isn't that just living?!

Whats Crack'n People!

As usuals I am known for bringing the best of the best in new music, events, fashion, hotties etc if its hot its like Ragu it's in here!!!  Well my #TRN fam Nex Radio & Magazine CEO "Nexplicable P" brought a dope young group to my attention last year. She informed me on how well seasoned they where and although they was young they was ready! After 1st glance at these individuals I realized she was on point (Great call sis!)

So Fresh So Fly consists of: Audio producer, vocalist, songwriter; Midori vocalist, songwriter; Jay Kool rapper, songwriter; and Reese vocalist, rapper, songwriter.

We all know that Floridas been on the radar with talent like Luke, Trick Daddy Trina Ptibull Flor-Rda etc . This group emerged from South Florida which is a hub for diverse music cultures from Salsa to Heavy Metal. Specifically, Southern Rap  now out of South Florida comes, So Fresh So Fly  a bold new  young H
ip/Pop group that blends the sounds of Pop and Dance music with infusions of Hip Hop and driving beats to create their own unique sound.
This fresh, young group is blazing the music scene and gaining popularity and crossover appeal with songs like “What They Do” and “I Think I Love You”. After hundreds of performances in the Florida club circuit and several larger venues such as Sistrunk and International Mango Festival, the group was signed to Solo World Entertainment and released their debut single, ‘Music: My Soul’ internationally.

Shortly following the releases of ‘Party All Night’ and ‘What They Do’, So Fresh So Fly began gaining traction in the digital market.

The November 2010 release of their single, ‘I Think I Love You’ quickly gained popularity and subsequently joined ‘Music: My Soul’ on the growing list of the group’s best-selling songs.

It's apparent they have a look and style that needs to be heard and a fresh new sound for Hip Hop & Pop so It's Official I mos def blow the whistle for this young upcoming group!

COOL V PRESENTS - NEW MUSIC SILKY SOUL FROM "JULIE DEXTER" THIS DIVAS DOPE!!!

"Sensational yet subtle. A singer to die for who creates an urgent need for superlatives yet to be invented."

Bio
www.juliedexter.com (click it or copy & paste the url in your browser to see it)
"..listening to Julie Dexter is like falling in love.."

Meet Julie Dexter, a world renowned, award winning, British vocalist considered by many to be one of the most influential female vocalists of our generation. Having shared the spotlight with a host of cutting-edge artists, including Mint Condition, Jill Scott, Bilal, Omar, Loose Ends, Rachelle Ferrell, Ledisi, Eric Roberson and Raheem DeVaughn to name a few, Julie not only holds up her own with them but has been praised and respected by them too.

Born and raised in Birmingham, England, this classically trained artist composes and arranges her own music. Influenced by legends such as Nancy Wilson, Abbey Lincoln, and Bob Marley, as well as popular icons Omar and Sade, Julie takes classic soul to the heart of Artistry.

Fans and critics across the globe have followed her journey through the circles of Jazz, Broken-Beat, Bossa-Nova, Reggae, Afro-Beat and Soul. Her dynamic voice was first heard in 1994 on "The Jamaican Beat" Vol 1 with Jazz Jamaica then later in 1997 on Dune Records' release of J-Life, a European Jazz quintet formed by Gary Crosby and led by Jason Yarde. She later toured several continents with Jazz legend Courtney Pine as the lead vocalist for his ensemble.

It was in 1999 that Julie took a leap of faith and moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she now resides. She launched her own label, Ketch A Vibe Records and in 2000 released the critically acclaimed EP Peace of Mind, followed by Dexterity (2002), and Conscious (2005). Moon Bossa, a collaboration with Khari Simmons was released in 2007 and her single "Ketch A Vibe" was featured in national radio ads for Democratic Presidential Candidate former Senator now president "Barack Obama".

From Jazz to World Music, Soul and beyond, Julie Dexter is one of an elite few whose talent can transcend genres. She makes it all work on her own terms, as an audaciously independent artist with an undeniable connection to her audience.

Her latest anticipated project with Chicago's own Producer/DJ Steve "Miggedy" Maestro entitled "New Again" released April 26th 2011. Don’t miss the experience of Julie Dexter. Be a part of a tradition of great music. In the words of her smash single "Ketch A Vibe", ‘Don’t let it pass you by...Ketch [Julie Dexter’s] Vibe’...

PLEASE READ THIS BLOG -VERY IMPORTANT

Attention People!

What's Crack'n people I always come threw to educate you about what's going on in the community and today I come to inform you of an epidemic that we are slowly forgetting about. A.I.D.S - Is very much alive & Real! We have to stop dealing with it like its the common cold and since this nation cares more about making cash then curing people of illnesses you have to protect yourself.

This Video was brought to my attention by (DJ DESIREZ) Who informed me of a predator who should be serving life who is about to be released. WIVB TV of Western NY released a shocking video on YouTube that shows a convict who is not only NOT sorry for spreading A.I.D.S to over 13 women but also raped a 13 child in the process but have the nerve to be married and states he will still do it again. He also threw his blood and other body fluids on other prisoners to get them infected as well. Whats even more shocking is his families behavior and what came out of one of their mouths while leaving the courtroom. In the video above one even goes as far to say "I don't know why yaw keeping him what about the other people out with A.I.D.S?" It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see his family has some real deep rooted issues.

If they can sit there with no remorse and know that he will KILL again and still support him there is a problem. Now it's NOT just about Nushawn Williams' prison sentence or about how New York State wants to find another way to keep him behind bars permanently. But about how we have become immune to caring about other victims in society this is NOT the only thing we turn a blind eye to. We perpetuate this threw NOT speaking up against unprotected sex. We also encourage sex at an early age and also unprotected sex before marriage which doesn't just result in S.T.D'S But bastard & neglected kids. This also effects the economy. It's unfair that we take care of situations like the women who Octuplet mother (See HERE)This just proved our society is going crazy what I think is crazy is how we looked at this as entertainment.

How can she afford to have nannies I agree with "Whoopie Goldberg" It doesn't just effect the the parent but society when you do not have the adequate funds to raise the kids your making. NOTE TO OUR DEADBEAT MOTHERS & DADS: If you like the sensation of NOT choosing protection you should be forced to have a hysterectomy. Also did you hear her even said she had time to write a book and workout with 14 kids "How Is That Possible?" This is crazy!!! The doctor should serve life for this BS! Notice you never here much from him or his legal status. There should be a fine for men & women who create kids and abandon them if you do the crime then you should do time period I guarantee this will happen less. I think the problem is most of these people need help!!!!! I want to hear from you give me feedback below!

THESE VIDEO BELOW PROVE WE ARE MORE INTERESTED IN ENTERTAINMENT THAN SOLVING PROBLEMS! (SMH) "THIS WOMAN CLEARLY HAS ISSUES" NOTE: CRAZY PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS BORDERLINE GENIUSES THIS IS SCARY!!!!

COOL V - PRESENTS SOME REAL TALK WITH TERRESA RAILFORD & HOT VIDEO BY RHYMEFEST

What's Crack'n Peoples!

Now just this morning I got a call from my homie "Teressa" telling me this cat was mad funny this morning complaining about how PR and marketing should work for free! WDF are these niglets talking about? It kills me how disrespectful these cats are and DON'T see it yet complain when we ask for respect. So below is the post that started it all.

PLANET ILL WRITES:

Musicians have historically been a reflection of whatever cultural
condition is prevalent in their era. Perhaps it isn’t a surprise given
today’s lack of culture and devaluing of intellect that we have an
inordinate amount of soulless seemingly stupid musicians who serve as
puppets for the furthering of comm...ercial interests. Not a tirade or a
soapbox speech, merely an observation. Planet Ill is here to show not
what is always shown, but what is also present: rappers who aren’t brain
dead.

George Seals WRITES

That's the attitude that I'm referring to, the older generation has to understand that the cultural gap that is happening right now because of lack of connection between the old and new hip hop generations. That's why a lot of the older hip hop heads don't like or understand the new music because they are not a part of it. That's why classic hip ... See Morehop aint selling now. The new fans gravitate to a lil wayne more than lets say a common or a rhymefest because the values that were instilled in common and rhymefest were lost because of the generation / communication gap in hip hop. We don't expect anybody to help us in fact we are rebelling against the old system that's why you have so many rappers who spit bullshit to get a check because it aint about hip hop no more. Its about money and a lifestyle, i say that because when you're broke ppl don't wanna work with you regardless of how hot u are. People always wan to hit you with this "resource" shit, thats a fany word for where is your budget. Dopeboys have money so they use their "resources" to get on. Thats why you hear so many of them on the radio now. The mass signing of these type of artists was done on purpose by major labels to change the environment and face of the game. Either way you look at it the lack of culture you are talking about is a lack of communication thus we have a gap in hip hop. People got greedy and lost sight of what Hip Hop is all about. I know its a "million dollar entertainment industry" like you said but that's they problem people treat it that way instead of culture and art that's why you see less and less culture.

MY PARTNER WRITES BACK

Teressa Raiford

Listen to the video.... the founders of the Industry created a corporate business for us to use and develop, not for us to be used to develop. Its a business like Wal mart, I cannot go into any of Sam Waltons store and get food off the shelf, take it home, cook it and then decide to pay for it if it taste good. I have to go there and buy it. I ... See Moream not saying Hip Hop is for sale I am merely pointing out that businesses in this industry will not thrive if we don't do BUSINESS! if you want to start a company in any type of industry you will need to Plan, get Capital and market and Sale your products and services or you do not have a Business. Hip Hop is over 25 years old and as someone who has been in the industry working since 1985 I don't support bad business planning.

NOW FOR MY RESPONSE: WHICH ENDED IT ALL!!!!

Cool Vibez
This is one conversation I HAD to jump in! This aggravates the hell out of me NOT one MC I know can go into Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Radio Shack or Guitar Center and get free food or equipment (Unless they are the spokesperson) based on their artistry. So why do these same artist they that stuff with small up-coming businesses? Keep in mind These same artists support large corporations and people who don't give a DAYUM about them or the music or industry they are in YET NEVER complain! However when someone takes does take a genuine vested interest in helping promote that artist(s) or their brand these same people get hit with a "Wait Till I BLOW UP"comment and usually When they do "ON 2 THE NEXT" with no loyalty and a it's just business Move! Cmon Son "Stop The Madness"You artists will have no problem buying studio equipment, wasting thousands or hundreds making it rain on a strippers ass cheeks, rims, gold teeth & jewelry or the most in style these days fronting & Paying for "Quote on Quote "Music Conferences and award shows whose focus is actually 5% on the music these days and you WON'T COMPLAIN one bit!!!!

That's some some BULLSHIT!!!!! I have a problem with that Mos Def!! We always talk about "Keep It Real" Every time but when some one really does these same "Asshole MC's" F@ck it up! Case in point "Jack The Rapper" I haven't been to a conference yet that catered to the MC more! What Happened some ignant fools started a fight in the one conference that was created to help them out! Not convinced yet? Another case in point is these same artists will break their neck to be involved in BS so hard they are willing to make complete idiots out of themselves on national TV EX: Puffy's "Making The Band" when we already seen where all of their past artist(s) NOTICE THE PLURAL ! HAVE ENDED UP!

This is that "Bobby Boshay" that we need to STOP! Artists WORD OF ADVICE- Your publicist, Your agent, Your marketing agent and Your promo/strret team IS JUST AS IMPORTANT as your equipment to ensure YOUR SUCCESS!!! You don't MC for free so WE DONT WORK FOR FREE! That's like someone asking you to do a World Tour for the love of Hip-Hop would you? If so how would you feed your kids or pay your T-Mobile or Sprint or whatever cell company you go threw. ... See More

Being a business has it's costs "EVERY" business does! Notice the key word in the statement The music - "BUSINESS" and that's what we have to do more of. Most people have no problem helping new artists but it's the approaches we hate - the cocky as hell attitude or the don't give a f@ck fuck u pay me and when im done im throwing yo ass away(The famous what can u do for me VS how can we help each other attitude) we get as vets that turns us 100% off!!! Note we are down to trade ONLY if you have something of EQUAL value you wouldn't trade in your hummer for a pinto would you? So why should we?

1st be humble, 2nd respect is key and most important when someone does help you a kind "Thank You" or a show of gratitude might work. If you've called us 10000000 times to work your project a phone call is the LEAST you can do and like you our kids got to eat so a kind gesture would work even better!

I know I probably upset 50% of the music industry with this one but so what Imma tell it like it T-I IZ!!!!
