New @Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer Causes Excitement to Most & Dismay to some

This past Monday evening during NFL Monday night football, Disney & Lucasfilms released their third trailer for their heavily anticipated and upcoming sequel to Star Wars Return of the Jedi directed by J.J Abrams to Star Wars The Force Awakens movie which will be the first of an new episode of a new trilogy of movies starring John Boyega (please check out Attack the Block if you haven't), Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Cary Fisher, Harrison Ford, Oscar Issacs, Adam Driver, Gwendolyn Christie (Game of Thrones), Andy Serkis, and more.

Fans were happy to see more of the film in which the first two trailers for Star Wars were mostly teasers. While most fans were happy to see the trailers, ready to buy expensively marked up tickets on eBay, and start pre-ordering tickets on Fandango also it seems that other fans were upset at the fact this new Star Wars film would feature a Black and a female lead character.

Despite that the original Star Wars trilogy in fact did have Black & other ethnicity actors playing storm troopers, legendary actor James Earl Jones voicing the main villain Darth Vader, Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu in the 2000 prequel trilogy and Billy Dee Williams playing smooth talking smuggler and Han Solo's friend Lando Calrisian. Those who were outraged over all the film press and media went as far as to spearhead movements to boycott the newest Star Wars entry. And let's not forget the creator of the Star Wars film franchise that I doubt had one group of people in mind when he created the movie franchise is also married to a Black woman.

GET READY TO TAKE THE FIGHT BACK TO THE EVIL EMPIRE ON DECEMBER 18TH!

JOHN BOYEGA IS NOT LETTING THE HATRED OF RACISM STOP HIM FROM ENJOYING THE NEW STAR WARS FULL TRAILER AS AN ACTOR AND A FAN OF THE FRANCHISE
