NEWS "KATY PERRY" PULLED FROM "SESEME STREET? ...REALLY (WOW!)

What's Crack'n Peoples!

If you are on the net reading most of you probably seen this or this may be new news but Katy Perry's taped performance for "Sesame Street," which was released to YouTube earlier this week and drew complaints from parents due to the pop star's controversial attire, will no longer air on the children's show, creator Sesame Workshop said Thursday morning (Sept. 23).

The clip was slated to run during "Sesame Street's" upcoming season but has now been pulled due to protests from parents who found Perry's outfit to be too provocative. "We use parodies and celebrity segments to interest adults in the show...We also value our viewer's opinions and particularly those of parents," Sesame Workshop said in a statement. "In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on YouTube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of 'Sesame Street,' which is aimed at preschoolers.

Personally the dress wasn't all that bad but I understand them nipping it in the bud before someone really takes it there!
