Chance The Rapper (real name- Chancelor Johnathan Bennett) has performed at the White House coming from the same city as Barack Obama and Kanye West, Chicago has become a household name and guess what...Chance The Rapper is an independent artist. His latest album, Coloring Book is streaming online through outlets, Pandora and Spotify. The brother is talented, not only does he rap but Chance produces acts, sings, writes songs and produces. In 2013, Chance gained attention dropping his second mixtape, Acid Rap. Apart from his solo career, he is also a member of the Chicago collective Save Money (along with frequent collaborator Vic Mensa), and has worked as the lead vocalist for the band The Social Experiment. They released the widely lauded album Surf in May 2015.
Fast forward to last year 2016, he released his current mixtape the Coloring Book. And impressive to his resume has been one of the fan favorites of previous US President Barack Obama getting an invitation to the White House and performing at White House Christmas Tree lighting and Obama's farewell speech in Washington, D.C. This is Bennett's third mixtape, which earned him three Grammy awards, including Best Rap Album. Coloring Book was the first streaming-only album to ever receive a Grammy nomination.
